Tell me a little about Ingrid Cole.
"Well, I am an Actor Singer Humanitarian and Soccer Mom. Like most women I wear many hats!"
When did you start performing?
"My training started with my father. He trained me classically and I grew up singing wonderful works by wonderful composers in my home church. My father was the Minister of Music and I learned to site read music sitting next to my mom in the choir. I did my first solo when I was 8."
Did you always want to be a singer?
"From the time I can remember I have always wanted to be a singer. There was never a doubt that I would do anything else. I feel lucky and blessed that I always knew that."
When did you start acting?
"My love for the theatre started in high school. I had no idea I could use my humor and my voice at the same time. I had found my calling."
In what ways are you a humanitarian?
"I have a love for people. Especially children. I recently went to Zambia and visited 3 rescue homes for abandoned infants, orphans and young children in crisis. Our church supports them. I fell in love. In fact I will be returning in 2011. I have done numerous benefit concerts for Change4Children and only hope to bring awareness to this wonderful cause."
